Vinz Roosso was born in the island of Mauritius, where began his
passion for music.
He joined the choir of his village at the age of
16 and went on stage for the first time, in an event looking for
young talents. Due to his brilliant performance, famous musicians of
the island get into touch with him and he started performing in the
prestigious hotels of Mauritius.
In 2002, he was spotted by the manager of the Sofitel Imperial and
was hired as recreational entertainer and singer. He performed with
the hotel band for live performances and set up shows with dancers
for various annual events and weddings, both indoors and outdoors and
on the beach.
Self-taught, he managed to improve his skills in Djing, music
theory, guitar, and became famous for singing at wedding ceremonies.
Having a strong leadership profile, he was brought into Accor Hotel
training program and managed to enroll into a Leisure management

world famous organisations such as Christian Dior, Miss France,
Bollywood Awards and sang on stage for the final of Miss Mauritius in
In 2012, Vinz Roosso moved to Switzerland, and his knowledge of
sound and lighting equipment allowed him to work in the Theater of
Beausobre and Paléo festival as stage technician. He became famous in
different parts of Switzerland with concerts and mixes.
To improve is skills, he started Music production and Djing with
famous swiss Dj, Djerem at the Swiss Dj School.
In 2015, he completed his courses and has his first Dj gig in
famous club of "Le Mad" in Lausanne. Having developed good skills, he
performs along Djerem for various events. On the other hand, he also
improved his singing skill with a coach in a recording studio and was
finalist in the Voice Star Switzerland Edition 2015 contest.
In 2016, Vinz Roosso became a self-employed artist and musician,
registered to the "Registre du Commerce Suisse". He designed his own
sound and light concept and can accommodate to an audience of up to
500 persons. His concept is mobile and he travels around Switzerland
and Europe to satisfy his clients. He is developing partnership with
event agencies and famous brands in Switzerland.
